The Final VGNP Projects

So did you enjoy those music videos? Here are two more VGNP and I made shortly after the first three!

80's Theme song was shot over a weekend using locations around Redwood Regional Park, Lake Merritt, City of Vallejo, and Soundwave Studios. It was a tricky shoot in that, once again, we had limited resources and were trying hard to attain the 80's sitcom look (without completely destroying the AirBnB house we were shooting in).

A Frightening Vision of Hell wrapped up my collaborative series of VGNP and it was probably the most challenging music video to make. We had 3 hours to shoot the "stop and go" concept at Music City Rehearsal in San Francisco, which actually turned into 2 hours since one of the band members forgot we were shooting that day. I ended up taking over most the duties of directing the video, as well as handling the lighting and cinematography, so Vincent could focus on performance with the band.

The final creative concept was birthed in the editing process. What was once supposed to be kinda funny and cheesy, turned into a darker, more surreal piece accented with the fuzzy super8 look (which came about when I decided to downgrade the resolution to get more from the footage).

I quite enjoy this video - I got to put my own sense of humor and style to a VGNP music video.
